“The theme of the Day this year, “Fostering multilingualism for inclusion in education and society”, thus encourages us to support multilingualism and the use of mother tongues, both at school and in everyday life. This year, special attention is being paid to multilingual education from early childhood, so that for children, their mother tongue is always an asset.” Audrey Azoulay, Director-General of UNESCO
Celebrating International Mother Language Day, we announce that a case study about the SGS Language Policy has been accepted by Cambridge Assessment International Education to be included in an upcoming language guide for Cambridge schools around the world.
Our language policy creates clear definitions for the three languages we teach and use: Spanish as our first language, English as our second language and French as a foreign language for academic, cultural and personal purposes.
Look for the full case study and the Cambridge International Language Guide soon!
