We are delighted that 3 of our students: Kiara Gonzalez, Felipe Botero, and Santiago Castro are three of the six junior scientists that make up the Colombian delegation taking part in the XVI International Junior Science Olympiad in Doha, Qatar from 3rd to 12th December.
Over 300 students under the age of sixteen from over 50 countries take part in the Olympiad to test their knowledge and skills in physics, biology, and chemistry.
The Olympiad consists of individual theoretical tests followed by practical ones. These tests are the result of the team work of all the students involved. The object is to promote and reward the search for excellence in scientific endeavours that encourages further development in the Sciences.
Good luck to the team and we hope you have a wonderful time.
